Mr. CJ Comu is a 25-year professional corporate veteran creating, mentoring and operating numerous private and public companies as Chairman/CEO. He has extensive knowledge and experience in building, funding and operating business ventures globally with a track record of over 100 companies he has counselled and/ or served as Director.
Mr. Comu is Founder Chairman & CEO of EarthWater Limited, a manufacturer of health and wellness beverages sold 20+ countries around the world through their partnership with Amazon. Mr. Comu is Chairman of Regus Advisors, Inc., former Chairman/CEO of SUN Sports & Entertainment (a public company), former Chairman/CEO of Humitech International (an international franchise company) and former Chairman/CEO of Airtech International Group, (a public company) and other entrepreneurial ventures. Mr. Comu started his professional career in 1980 as Founding Partner of MBA Software Inc, one of Canada's first Software Development Company's for Apple Computer working with Steve Job. Mr. Comu's list of accomplishments and support include; being former President of the Addison Rotary Foundation, Former Vice Chairman of Galleria Credit Union, Charter Member of the Investin Forum, Member of the American Diabetes Association Leadership Board, Member of the City of Addison Economic Development Commission and finally he is a 2018 Nominee for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award.
Mr. Comu is a former speaker at Southern Methodist University (SMU) to the Business Graduate Program on Venture Finance and Business Strategies as well as a Mentor at the University of Texas at Dallas (UTD) Dallas MBA Program and Mentor at the Treehouse in conjunction with the Dallas Entrepreneur Center (DEC). He sits on several Boards and serves as a Mentor, Panelist and Keynote Speaker.
Mr. Comu is also working on releasing and touring with a new Business Strategy Book called CEO Sniper, "How to survive in the Jungle in a Suit," coming out soon. Mr. Comu has conducted business with offices in 20 countries and been featured in numerous articles and interviews in; Television, Radio and Print. Mr. Comu is a graduate from Langara College in Business Administration and has pursued post academic studies, in marketing, finance, real estate and law.
CJ has also recently been named to the Board of the American Diabetes Association. His team at EarthWater are proudly helping raise funds and awareness for the foundation. Mr. Comu is married to Phyllis Comu a Native Texan, and animal advocate with the SPCA. They are proud parents of two rescue Boxers Dogs and continue to work with Animal Charities and support Saint Michael & All Angels Episcopal Church. Cash Riley, Jr. has served as President of EarthWater, Ltd. since September of 2016. Prior to that, his professional consulting company, CRJR Partners, LLC., advised EarthWater in the areas of Sales, Brand, and Marketing.
Cash is a former Professional Baseball Player for the Los Angeles Dodgers, where he played professionally for 5 years. After retiring from the Dodgers in 2001, he spent 10 years in the radio industry managing and selling broadcast air time with Triad Broadcasting (Savannah, GA), Clear Channel (Dallas, TX), Radio One (Dallas, TX), Tyler Media (Oklahoma City, OK), and CBS Radio (Dallas, TX). Mr. Riley began a six-year partnership as Director of Business Development with Richmont Holdings (a private, family-owned company in business for 26 years with $2 Billion in assets) after securing $150 Million in sales for one of the company’s private entities. His activities at Richmont Holdings included oversight of: direct capital investments in operating companies; investment vehicles; capital for active and passive investments, and; resources to support the growth of innovative business opportunities.
During Mr. Riley’s time at Richmont Holdings, he created and oversaw distribution, sales, and marketing activities for ROCHON Premium Brands, LLC., and its seven premium-brand products. He served as President and Co-Founder of ROCHON’s flagship product, Seven Canadian Still Spring Water.
Buddy Barnes sits on the EarthWater, Ltd. Board of Directors and is a member of our Executive Team. As a Senior Executive Officer, he plays a critical strategic role in the overall management of the company, most notably in the planning, implementation, and management of all finance-related activities. Buddy has direct responsibility for accounting, finance, forecasting, strategic planning, job costing, legal, lease management, deal analysis and renegotiations, partnership compliance, private and institutional equity, and debt financing.
Buddy has over 30 years’ experience in Business Finance. He has served as a Chief Financial Officer and a key member of the Executive Team of a public company and has held the position of VP of Finance at both public and private companies, overseeing their growth from start-up to attaining over $1 Billion in annual revenues. In his most recent former role as CFO, he completed the strategic sale of a NASDAQ public company to a subsidiary of a large Japanese electronics firm at an 80% premium-to-market value.
Buddy’s commercial-banking background has aided him in the management of numerous equity, debt, and bank credit facilities. He has managed acquisitions in the technology and high-tech manufacturing sectors as well as M&A transactions on the sell side. He has successfully managed the implementation of CRM and ERP systems and has significant experience in sales organizations, management reporting, corporate governance, board development, and investor relations.
